My Non-Linear Path

Thank you for taking the time to consider me in supporting you on your Side Quest! Goodness of fit in therapy and coaching is critical to your success, so I wanted to let you know a little bit about me. I earned my master’s degree in social work from Sacramento State in 2016, and obtained my license to practice in 2018. I have worked with children and families in outpatient and residential treatment programs, correctional mental health, and an acute care hospital. Prior to returning to direct practice, I was the Chief Program Officer at a local non-profit and oversaw the outpatient and residential clinical programming. I also provided clinical supervision to graduate students and Associate therapists pursuing licensure.

I love mentoring and supporting people no matter where they are in their journey. Seeing growth and bearing witness to others increasing self-confidence and success is one of the most special things you can do, in my opinion.

I have had many side quests, and as my definitions explain, some have been positive and others not so much, though I truly have learned from all of them and taken something with me. I started my own neurospicy journey over the last year. My experiences have fueled my passion to help those managing life with ADHD (or strongly suspected). I especially believe there is a lack of support and knowledge for women diagnosed with ADHD, and I am really excited about my group The Neurospicy Collective!

You will see a bit more about my approaches to therapy and coaching on their respective pages, but one of the most important things I think you should know about me, is that I am a huge proponent of humor and goofiness. I find that it balances the heavy. I try to make every session relatable and human, and do my best to create a warm and welcoming space.

Reach out if you think we would be a good fit!

Feedback

  • ★★★★★ I had my second session with my therapist and i left feeling genuinely hopeful. She is authentic, easy to talk to. She made me feel comfortable from the start and created a space where i felt heard without judgement. She is relatable, open, and has a very natural way of connecting with people. It didn't feel clinical or rushed it felt like talking to someone who truly cares and wants to help. - Grow Therapy Client
