Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

Therapy that meets you where you are has two meanings for me, of course in the therapeutic sense in that therapists follow their client’s lead in treatment, and also that I provide virtual services. While in person sessions tend to be the gold standard, I actually think there are some real benefits to telehealth that many actually prefer (myself included). People can choose to meet where they are most comfortable (their home office, couch, bed), and I love it. I especially enjoy that clients can show me things they are working on or excited about. Did you know that listening and showing genuine interest in others’ hobbies and what matters to them is one of the most validating and supportive things you can do? Try it and notice how your relationships might strengthen with those around you.

As far as my treatment methods go, I take a person-centered, integrative approach to therapy, which means I focus on you rather than following a single method. My job is to listen deeply, understand what’s weighing on you, and work alongside you to find what helps. I tailor therapy to your needs, and if something isn’t working, we adjust and find a better path forward together.

I include a combination of cognitive and somatic interventions, as I am a strong believer in the brain body connection and the neuroscience behind everything. Some of these include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or ACT, as I believe our values greatly impact our wellbeing. Moral injury is a very real thing. I also assess attachment patterns, and focus on strengthening your support networks, as we are in an epidemic of loneliness which carries significant health implications. Somatic approaches may bring things to light that we would never know to focus on with strictly cognitive based methods.

I specialize in ADHD, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and trauma. I am licensed to practice therapy in California. Reach out if you think we might be a good fit!

Our First Session:

Starting therapy can be awkward, vulnerable, and a little intimidating, no matter how many times you've done it. In our first session and each thereafter, I aim to create a warm, human space where you can show up as you are, whether that's a full stress dump or cautiously testing the waters. My hope is that you leave feeling understood and hopeful.

My Goal For You:

I believe lasting change starts with understanding yourself. Before we jump into solutions, we'll explore the patterns, unmet needs, and underlying reasons behind what's keeping you stuck. From there, we'll set realistic goals, track what's actually helping, and adjust as needed. If we're solving the wrong problem even good solutions can fall flat.

Group Therapy

An 8-week skills and support group for women with ADHD (or strongly suspected), blending psychoeducation with peer community and support in a small group setting. Pricing is listed below:

  • 8 weekly sessions (75 minutes each)

  • Process-oriented, skills-based, psychoeducational format

  • Asynchronous group and facilitator support included between sessions

  • Private pay only - not eligible for superbill submission

$499 flat rate for the full 8 weeks.

Power of Group

Group therapy offers something individual sessions can’t: the felt experience of not being the only one. There’s real relief in hearing another person describe the exact thing you thought was just your own failure to try hard enough, and realizing it was never that. Beyond the shared understanding, group work builds practical momentum too: you get real-time feedback and perspective from peers navigating the same challenges, structured accountability that carries between sessions, and a small community that keeps showing up for you week after week.
